This really fun project is for after completion of the novel
by Herman Hesse.
-Board game creation project
-Designed for small groups
3-6 class periods for game creation (depending on teacher requirements)
1-2 class periods for each group to move around the room and play the games of other groups
-Page 1 is project description, requirements, etc.
-Pages 2-5 are rubrics
Two rubrics are included:
1. A rubric for teammates to use in
scoring one another & themselves
(respect towards teammates, participation, etc.) after the project is completed.
(Add and take average scores for each student's participation grade. Teacher can use the rubric as well.)
2. A rubric for students to use in
scoring the games themselves
after playing each.
(Add and take average scores for each project grade. Teacher can use the rubric as well.)
Project average grade + Participation average grade = Overall grade
Two different point systems for rubrics are included:
1. Pages 2 and 3 have rubrics with no points on them so that teacher can use whatever point system works for them. There is space to write in
your own points
on the rubrics.
2. Pages 4 and 5 have the same rubrics, but with points on them, totaling 100 for easy averaging.
