This really fun project is for after completion of the novel Siddhartha by Herman Hesse.
-Board game creation project -Designed for small groups (2-4) -Time frame: 3-6 class periods for game creation (depending on teacher requirements) 1-2 class periods for each group to move around the room and play the games of other groups -Page 1 is project description, requirements, etc. -Pages 2-5 are rubrics
Two rubrics are included: 1. A rubric for teammates to use in scoring one another & themselves (respect towards teammates, participation, etc.) after the project is completed. (Add and take average scores for each student's participation grade. Teacher can use the rubric as well.) 2. A rubric for students to use in scoring the games themselves after playing each. ( Add and take average scores for each project grade. Teacher can use the rubric as well.)
Project average grade + participation average grade = overall grade
Two rubric options are included: (1) Pages 2 and 3 have the above rubrics with no points on them so that the teacher can use whatever point values work for them. There is space to write in your own points on the rubrics.
(2) Pages 4 and 5 have the same rubrics, but with points on them, totaling 100 for easy averaging.
